An interactive session programme is organised by the Income Tax Department North Eastern Region Guwahati in Collaboration with Entrepreneurship Cell of Beltola College in the ICT classroom of Beltola College at 12.30 p.m..The interactive session was anchored by Pankaj Kumar Kalita the Academic in-charge of Beltola College.At the outset of the programme,the welcome speech was delivered by Himangshu Das, the Assistant Professor from the Department of Economics as well as the member of the aforesaid cell.Dr.Ajit Borkotoky then gave his speech and urged the students to take active participation in the programme.After this the principal of Beltola College Dr .Ajit Borkotoky,Mr Dipak Singh the income Tax officer,Mr.M.Hayat the income tax officer,Mr Rupjyoti Pathak the Inspector of Income Tax Department and Mr .James Singh the inspector of Income Tax Department were felicitated with Phulam Gamusa by the students of Beltola College.Again the Principal of Beltola College, Eli Kumari Das , the Coordinator of Entrepreneurship Cell, and Pankaj Kumar Kalita, the Academic in-charge are felicitated by the officials of Income Tax Department.Chayanika the BA 6th semester student sang a beautiful Assamese modern song.Mr Dipak Singh, the income Tax officer then delivered a speech on Income Tax and it's importance.Mr Rupjyoti Pathak the Inspector from the Income Tax Department presented a PPT presentation by highlighting the historical background of Tax paying Civilization and even imparted valuable Quotation of Chanakya, Albert Einstein and etc.After this five students from Beltola College namely Manisha Mahanta, Duarah, Basudev Roy, Sushmita Deb and Nargis then delivered their speech on various sub themes of Income Tax.Rajkumar
Mushahary then sang a beautiful Hindi song.After this, James Singh conducted a short quiz session among the students.Even small gifts were also presented to the students who were able to give their answers correctly.The officials then presented memonto to the students who had taken active participation in the interaction session.Finally , the vote of thanks was offered by M.Hayat,the income Tax Department as well as by Labonita Deka,an assistant Professor from the Department of Economics. This beautiful programme was ended with the National Anthem.
