Plantation Programme Conducted by The Department of English and Hindi on the World Environment Day.
The Department of English and Hindi celebrated the "World Environment Day" on 5th June 2022, by conducting a Plantation Programme within and outside the campus of the College. The programme started at 10:30 am with the presence of the teachers from both the departments named Pankaj Kumar Kalita, Kamaruj Jaman, Priyanka Basumatary, Dibyajyoti Deka and Ramesh Kumar Rai along with departmental students and some other students who also joined the plantation programme. Saplings of different trees were planted in the fields of the college, Beltola Majhipara LP School and Neighbouring locality of Beltola College including Dakhin Beltola High School Playground. The programme focused on the imminent threat of the Environmental Degradation, Global Warming and Depletion of Ozone Layer and therefore, the importance of plantation and love for plants. Both the departments made a brief awareness rally in the neighborhood also.
