Report on attending Job Fair at Assam Down Town University

Saturday 27/5/23 April Mofida Begum and Ramesh Kr. Rai along with 09 no’s of 6th semester students visited a job fair organized by Assam down Town University Guwahati. The fair was held in the Panikhaiti Campus . There were a huge number of companies and their stalls offering various jobs for the job-seekers. Many university graduates assembled there as it was a great opportunity for the job-seekers. There were many companies who offered job on spot by taking interview of keen candidates. Many companies were seen to collect CV from the young graduates who came to the fair with a view to getting suitable jobs. The companies, which were invited to the Job fair, included Panasonic, Piramol, Protect, HDFC life, IFB, Bimal, SBI life and many more organizations. This job fair was for all graduates and postgraduates students.
Our students were very much enthusiastic over their coming future. They talked a lot with the concerned persons of the companies regarding their job offer.
We stayed at the fair at about one 5 hours and our students gained some knowledge regarding the job market of private sector. In fact, it was a pleasant experience for our students.
