1st December 2024 on the occasion of World Aids Day
On 1st December 2024 on the occasion of World Aids Day,a meeting was arranged in the Conference Hall of the Beltola College among the students on the observation of World Aids Day by Red Ribbon Club in collaboration with IQAC.The meeting was presided over by Pankaj Kumar Kalita,an academic in-charge of the Beltola College.Pankaj Kumar Kalita in his inaugural speech, welcome the resource person Namita Pathak ICTC Counselor Guwahati Medical College and Hospital.Then he thanks Ajit Borkotoky the principal of Beltola College for encouraging and inspiring this kind of activity in the College.After this the resource person Namita Pathak was felicitated by Priyana Patwary , a member of the student union of Beltola College.The resource person Namita Pathak then delivered her valuable speech on HIV and AIDS.An interaction session also took place after the speech.The students were greatly benefited by today's programme as they could know lots of things which were not known to them.Finally, the vote of thanks was delivered by Ramesh Kumar Rai,the Co- ordinator of Red Ribbon Club.He appreciated the resource person, the Principal of Beltola College,the IQAC Co- ordinator Mr Himangshu Das , the Academic in-charge Pankaj Kumar Kalita,the teachers who were present today and the students community for their active involvement in the programme.
