The Guest of the Month is a very delicate programme in Beltola College, organized by various Departments in which invitation will be given to various renowned personalities of different fields who use to share their various experiences with the students of this institution. Likewise, 21st March, 2022 also witnesses the said programme, organized by the Department of History, Beltola College at Conference Hall in which one reputed intellectual of Assam as well as the former HOD, Department of History and accordingly the former Principal of B. Borooah College Dr. Sunil Pawan Baruah adorned the seat of chief speaker of this programme. In this programme he shared valuably his talk as well as different interpretations on the topic' Relevance of History with the students of this institution. He very illustriously made importance of this particular topic as well as its essentiality with everyone's life. He opted History as the source of all informations by giving different examples and established his view as the basement of all segments of all parts of social science and theoretical science. In this programme the principal of the college Dr. Ajit Borkotoky also made the importance of History as a subject of backdrop of all social elements. The HOD of the concerned Department Mrs. Rashmirekha Hazarika delivered the welcome speech for the chief guest. Faculty member Himadree Kumar Sarma also delivered the introductory speech for the chief guest along with giving vote of thanks to all participated, in this programme. A felicitation programme was also done for both of the chief guest and the principal. In this programme various faculty members of different Departments along with a considerable number of students participated.
