On 29 th April 2022, at 11 a.m., a meeting is held in the ICT Class room on the topic 'A study of English Literature and Language'.This programme is known as the Guest of the month programme organised by the Department of English.And the resource person of this programme is one of the renowned scholar of Assam Dr.Dayananda Pathak.The welcome speech is delivered by Pankaj Kumar Kalita,an assistant Professor from the Department of English.After this Dr. Dayananda Pathak is felicitated by Purabi Medhi a student of BA 6th semester and the principal Dr.Ajit Borkotoky is felicitated by Anita Devi a student of BA 4th semester.Gyandeep Bora of BA 6th semester then sing a beautiful Assamese modern song.Purabi Medhi a student of BA 6th then recite a beautiful English poem from the poetry book of Dr.Dayananda Pathak.The principal of Beltola College then uttered his speech .And in his speech he informed that this type of programme will really benefit the students community.Chayanika Phukan then sing a beautiful Assamese modern song.Our resource person Dr.Dayananda Pathak then spoke on the topic 'A study of English Literature and Language'.He elaborated about the syntax, morphology and even spoke about the German language and it's relation with the syntax of English Language.Again the honourable Resource person have spoken about the importance of Greek Language.He also referred about the Philosopher Aristotle who spoke to the pupils on the Drama,Epic and Tragedy.The 18 number of students and 16 number of faculties who have participated in the programme are really benefitted by the Speech of the Honourable resource person Dr.Dayananda Pathak.Finally, the vote of thanks is delivered by Kamaruj Jaman,an assistant Professor from the Department of English.He thanked the principal of Beltola College for giving us the opportunity to organise this programme.He then thanks the honourable Resource person Dr.Dayananda Pathak for his noteworthy and fruitful lecture.After this he thanks the faculties,the teaching staffs and the students.
