On 22'September 2023 at 12, noon a workshop for Performing Arts was organized by the Department of Hindi in collaboration with IQAC in the Conference Hall of Beltola College.The resource person who was invited for the Workshop is Mr Bikash Kalita,an actor,Director,Writer,Poet and Entrepreneur.The welcome speech was delivered by Dibyajyoti Deka the HOD from the Department of Hindi.After this the resource person and the Principal of Beltola College was felicitated with Arnai by the students from the Department of Hindi.Pankaj kumar Kalita then spoke about the Resource Person.The Principal Dr.Ajit Borkotoky then uttered his lecture in humorous tone  but effectively.The resource person Mr Bikash Kalita spoke about his journey of life and the Philosophy of life.He informed the students about the starting point of his acting career.He also informed the students about the process of writing scripts and at the same time,he also explained the stories of his scripts which actually imparts the fact of life which is full of hindrances.He urged the students to be positive in their by citing his own examples which is very pathetic.He told the students that his only son died in 2021 for an accident.But he never gave up his life because he thought that lots of things are yet to be done for the society.He even donated  books to the Central Library of Beltola College.Two  books were written by the resource person Mr Bikash Kalita while the other book on poetry of his son was published posthumously.He even recited a poem which was composed by him.Finally,the vote of thanks was delivered by the faculty Namita Das from the Department of Hindi.Firstly,she offered thanks to the Principal Dr.Ajit Borkotoky for offering the opportunity to organize the Workshop.She then offered her thanks to the resource person for his inspiring lectures.Thirdly , she thanks all the members of IQAC for the active participation in the Workshop.And finally,she thanks the students for their presence in the Workshop.

बेलतला महाविद्यालय हिन्दी- विभाग की तरफ से महाविद्यालय के ICT / स्मार्ट क्लास रूम में “इस माह के अतिथि” के रूप में कॉटन विशविद्यालय के सेवानिवृत्त प्रोफेसर डॉ अमूल्य चन्द्र बर्मन जी उपस्थित रहें। संगोष्ठी का विषय “शुद्श हिन्दी- भाषा शिक्षण में व्याकरण का महत्व” पर बर्मन ने विस्तार पूर्वक अपने विचार प्रकट किए। उन्होंने अपने वक्तव्यों के माध्यम से विभाग के विद्यार्थियों का ज्ञान वर्द्धन किया। संगोष्ठी का शुभारम्भ विभाग के वरिष्ठ अध्यापक दिव्यज्योति डेका के द्वारा हुआ। अध्यक्ष डॉ अजीत बरकटकी, अतिथि डॉ अमूल्य बर्मन जी को फूलाम गामोछा के साथ स्वागत किया गया। संगोष्ठी का आरंभ विभागिय विद्यार्थी तुलसी दर्जी के सरस्वती वन्दनाके साथ हुआ। इस संगोष्ठी में बेलतला महाविद्यालय के अंग्रेजी विभाग के विभागाध्यक्ष पंकज कुमार कलिता भी उपस्थित रहें। इस के बाद डॉ अमूल्य बर्मन जी ने संगोष्ठी का विषय “व्याकरण के महत्व पर अपने बहुमूल्य विचार रखे। संगोष्ठी का अंत विभागिय अध्यक्ष रमेश कुमार राय के धन्यवाद ज्ञापन के साथ हुआ।
