Today dated 27/03/2023, the department of economics of Beltola College has organised a talk on the Topic -" Improving your personality " in collaboration with IQAC of Beltola college. The resource person of the said programme is Mr. Atanu Choudhury, the former vice principal and HOD, department of economics, Pragjyotish college, Guwahati. He delivered an excellent presentation of the various traits that are essential for our young students to qualify in various interviews and for better job prospects. The principal of Beltola College Dr Ajit Borkotoky   had given an speech on the importance of personality development in today's competitive world. Eli Kumari Das, senior most teacher of economics department hosted the programme and vote of thanks was finally given by HOD Sadhana Kalita.A good number of students attended the said programme.

On 05/12/2022 Monday the Economics department.  Beltola College has organised a departmental seminar on the topic- Role of small scale industry in the development of economy of Assam. The honours students of 1st semester  Economics has participated and presented paper in the seminar
