The department of Philosophy organised "Guest of the Month"  programme on 30-10-2023 at 11:00am. Snigdha Sikha Borah was invited as a resource person. The programme was presided by Nashmin Ara Begum. Welcome speech was given by Bornali Mohan. A speech was given by Pankaj Kumar Kalita. The vote of thanks was given by Himangshu Das.

Today on 17-11-2022, Philosophy department observed World Philosophy Day. Chandana Bhuyan, a Consultant Psychologist and Psychotherapist of Pratiksha Hospital was invited to give a speech on 'How to overcome the stress as a student'. The students are very much benefited by the programme.

Today a Philosophical Quiz Competition was organised by Philosophy department of both Beltola College and Dispur College. It was held in Beltola College. The students of both 2nd and 4th semester participated in the competition. 1st, 2nd, 3rd Prizes were given to the competitors

On 25-06-2022(Saturday) Philosophy department organised  'Guest of the Month' programme at 11:00am. Dr. Nurul Islam, HOD, Dept.of Philosophy, Karmashree Hiteswar Saikia College was invited as a resource person. The topic of the programme was 'Meditation for all-round development '. Dr. Nurul Islam gave a speech on how important Yoga and meditation is for our daily life. Even Dr. Mrigendra Nath Sarma Sir gave a speech on how to regulate our life from distraction.
