"Tamaso Maa Jyotirgamaya" is the MOTTO of Beltola College which means attaining enlightenment through knowledge The Beltola College is the singular Higher Educational Institution in the greater Beltola area established in 1983. The College located at the North East side of Guwahati Metro city. Since the establishment of Assam's Permanent Capital in Dispur, the population of the region has been increasing rapidly. So the Beltola College has greater potentiality to fulfill the social needs and develop the society through providing Higher Education in this greater region. The Beltola College has obtained a Tribal Belt Certificate by the Govt. of Assam. The Beltola College has been provided a Border Area Certificate. The College has a good academic record. The College already received necessary Permission, Recognition and Affiliation from Gauhati University. The Beltola College is under the Gauhati University. So, the College runs its Courses prepared by the Gauhati University. The College has also obtained Final Concurrence from Govt. of Assam dated. 30/11/2004. The Beltola College has also obtained "2(f) and 12(B) Certificates" from University Grants Commission (UGC), New Delhi. A large number of students studied in this College contributing a valuable growth affairs to the society. The students of this College are also related with various Art, Culture and Sporting activities. The College actively engaged with Academic and Socio- Cultural activities.
